And so it started…

Every story starts with, once upon a time in a faraway land lived a king and a queen…but not this one. There surely is a king and a queen in this story, but it doesn’t go back too far and happened here in the heart of Aamchi Mumbai. It all started 3 years ago when the king got married to his beautiful queen. By now I am sure you have guessed who the queen is😉, and the king, off course..my partner in crime.

We both are big time foodies.. Like to cook different cuisines (actually he LOVES to) and we both enjoy trying new dishes. While we were dating, we used to go to different places in search of new & famous dishes. Always in search of hidden gems, hole in the wall restaurants to satiate our love for food. Once married, we found our mantra; “Those who cook together, live happy together”. And so, our cooking journey began!

In the last 3 years, we cooked many dishes together, went to different restaurants to try various cuisines they offer, visited different cities, countries and tried local food. I always thought of penning down my experience, but the laid-back attitude kicked in every time I planned to write.

Finally, this new year I decided to say bye to procrastination and started putting down my thoughts. I am enjoying every part of this process, going down the memory lane and cherishing those moments again. So, let’s go on this journey together. Hope you will enjoy the joyride!
